How it works

Tell us once. We take it from there.

No lists of twenty service providers. No quote-chasing. Homaru gives you less to think about — here is the whole journey.

  1. 01

    Tell us what you need

Describe the problem in normal language — “my kitchen sink is leaking” is plenty. Add photos if they help. We ask the one or two questions that actually matter and work out the right trade, so you never have to know whether it is a plumber or a handyman job.

  2. 02

    See your price

We research what the work is worth and send one price for the scope you described, with what is included and what is not, in writing. If the job turns out different on site, we re-price with you before any work starts.

  3. 03

    We choose the service provider

We pick a Homaru Certified professional for your job. You see who is coming before they arrive — and nothing is booked until you accept the price and the person.

  4. 04

    Pick your day

Choose a date and an arrival window that suits you. Times are windows rather than fixed slots, and you can message your service provider from the moment the job is booked.

  5. 05

Get it done — and confirmed

The work is completed, you mark it paid, and we confirm the money reached your service provider before the job settles. You leave a review, and we read it before it counts.

How paying works

One price, agreed before anyone turns up. Your service provider does the work, you pay them on completion, and we confirm it settled before the job closes. No deposits, no hourly meter running, and no number you have not already seen.

If something goes wrong

Work that does not match the agreed scope, a service provider who does not turn up, or a job you are not happy with — you raise it with us, not with a stranger. A person reads it. A service provider can be suspended, and a review is moderated before it counts towards anybody's rating.
